Mar 26, 2024

With an exciting folder full of all the images from your brand photography shoot, you can’t wait to start using them. This post gives you some ideas how to use your brand photos.

Whether the photos are lifestyle portraits, behind the scenes action, beautiful flat-lays of your work, your own stock imagery or in your working environment, you have images ready to go that will connect, energise and bring more personality into your business.

So how to use your brand photos?

Plan before the photoshoot

It’s starts at the planning stage of the photoshoot, considering how and where you would like to use them. The main reason is that different uses will have different photography needs – vertical & horizontal images, clear negative space, social platforms and website headers, sizing all come into play.

Here’s a list of the key places to use your brand photos to work for you, growing your business in the process. If you have not had your brand photography shoot yet then this checklist guide will hopefully give you ideas and inspiration on what kind of images you might like to have.
